🎨 Paint Pals — Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 28, 2026

Paint Pals is a coloring game. It works without accounts, logins, or any personal information.

What the app collects

Anonymous usage analytics. The app uses Firebase Analytics (Google) to count things like rounds played, invites shared, and which pictures get colored. These events are anonymous, are never linked to your identity, and are used only to improve the game.

Room data. When you create or join a room, the 4-letter room code, your chosen avatar, and the brush strokes of that round pass through Firebase Realtime Database (Google) so both players see the same canvas. Rooms contain no personal information and are deleted after roughly a day.

Your paintings and coins are stored on your device only.

What the app never collects

Names, email addresses, phone numbers, contacts, precise location, photos, or any advertising identifiers. The app does not track you across other apps or websites, and it contains no third-party advertising.

Sharing

Saved paintings leave the app only when you use the iOS share sheet yourself. Analytics and room data are processed by Google Firebase under Google's privacy terms. Nothing is sold to anyone.

Children

The game is suitable for all ages and collects no personal information from anyone, including children.

Changes

If a future version of the app changes what it collects (for example, adding optional purchases), this policy will be updated before that version ships.
